#3 The New Day
After dangling in the mid-card for years, Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods, and Big E joined forces in 2014 and came up with The New Day. After Big E and Kofi lost a match on Raw, Woods confronted them and stated that it's their time to shine.

The trio initially sported the gimmick of a black gospel, but soon turned into a ridiculously goofy faction, donning colourful attire, dancing to the ring, playing with a trombone, and throwing pancakes at people later on in the run. Somehow, the WWE Universe ate it all up and The New Day soon became one of the hottest acts in WWE.
Kofi Kingston went on to become WWE Champion at WrestleMania, thanks to an incredible storyline that saw Woods and Big E helping their brother bag a title shot, and the audience getting behind them, much like how they did back in 2014 during the 'Yes' Movement.
The New Day is now one of the top brand ambassadors of WWE, and have travelled to several nations and wowed the fans across the world. Their goofy antics, although seemingly ridiculous, are actually what made them popular among the fans.
