#1 Longest Ever Royal Rumble Match

Current record: 1 hour 9 minutes (2011)
This one is a no-brainer. The longest Royal Rumble match in history took place in 2011, when the company held a 40 man Royal Rumble instead of the traditional 30-man match.

This Friday's event will feature even more Superstars than that, so it stands to reason that the match will last longer than the current 1-hour 9-minute record.
Of course, a lot will depend on the way the company decide to structure the match. If the WWE decides to stick with the traditional 90-second intervals between entries, then it would take at least 72 minutes for all 50 men to have entered the match. Even if the company decided to shorten this to one minute, it will still take 48 minutes to get everyone involved.
The WWE has invested a lot of time and money into this event, so it seems likely that they will want to put on the biggest spectacle possible. A 90-minute Rumble match seems more than likely, and if that is the case, then you can expect that record to be held for a very long time.
