Recent rumours suggest that John Cena might be appearing at SummerSlam on Sunday to challenge The Undertaker to a rematch at next year's WrestleMania. The two faced in what was a dream match at this year's WrestleMania, but the booking leading up to the event and the subsequent match left a lot to be desired.

The Undertaker did not appear even once on WWE programming leading up to WrestleMania, and the match was not even announced officially going into the show. When it did take place, it was a glorified two minute squash match with The Undertaker completely burying John Cena.

It was bizarre anyway you look at it, and it left a bad taste in the mouth of fans who had waited for years to see this match at WrestleMania.

WWE might be looking to fix the mistakes by re-booking the match at next year's WrestleMania with a long build up. It is for this purpose that John Cena might be appearing at SummerSlam in order to set the wheels in motion for the epic showdown.
