A match which has been rumoured for almost three years now, Michaels vs AJ Styles will be a match for the ages. Michaels coming out of retirement to face AJ Styles at Royal Rumble 2017 was heavily rumoured, with WWE even posting a poster featuring these two superstars. However, nothing came of it, and AJ went on to have a match against John Cena.

AJ Styles is WWE Champion once again, and has faced the likes of Brock Lesnar, Shane McMahon, and John Cena. He has rarely disappointed, and a match with Shawn Michaels will be something special!

Even HBK acknowledged that a match against Styles would be a brilliant prospect, at a Table of 3 episode last year.
