#4. Sets up the return of Luke Harper
Luke Harper and WWE have not been on good terms. They're probably still furious at him for making a statement about requesting his release from WWE, only to have it rejected. Harper never seemed to be on their good books regardless, but he still has a few more months before his contract expires.
In that time, WWE may want to utilize him for one final storyline and this could be it. When we mentioned the idea of Rowan going over Roman Reigns, it would likely be with some outside interference.
Since Daniel Bryan isn't an ally of his anymore, the only logical option in storyline would be Luke Harper. This would make sense because it would even the numbers game for Rowan and eventually further the storyline as well.
It would only become more interesting if it's revealed that Harper had something to do with it as well. If he is about to go out in a few months, it might as well be done with Rowan, a man who he's teamed with for a long time and won championships with.
Moreover, Harper does deserve to be written off.
