#4 Lars Sullivan's First Main Roster Match Ends In A DQ

What a way to make a debut.
What a way to make a debut.

The one thing that many expected at Super ShowDown was for Lars Sullivan to completely destroy The Lucha House Party, as there was not a doubt in anyone's mind that WWE would have the trio go over the next big thing in the company.

While losing was totally out of the question, Lars winning his first main roster match via DQ was something no one expected, and it surprised a lot of fans. While WWE got Lars his heat back after the match, as he destroyed the Lucha House Party one by one outside of the ring, it didn't really matter.

WWE needed to end this feud on this night as Lars needs to move on to bigger things, but it seems after this unexpected decision by the company, Lars will continue his feud with the high flyers on Raw in the weeks to come.

#5 Dream Match Ends Weak

This match was a let down for fans.
This match was a let down for fans.

The one thing that fans wish to see in a dream match is drama, as we can sit here all day and talk about the greatest wrestling matches ever, but if that match did not connect to you on an emotional level, was it even that great to begin with?

From Stone Cold Steve Austin unwilling to give up to Bret Hart at WrestleMania 13 to Ric Flair's teary eyes shouting at Shawn Micheals to end his career, wrestling needs that drama, but at Super ShowDown we got none of that in the biggest dream match.

It was kind of shocking to be honest, as WWE fans expected the match between Goldberg and Undertaker to be a high drama match, but WWE missed the point here. While one could count drama in the sense that these men were botching their moves, that was not it.

WWE didn't give fans that one element that did not need these men to risk their livelihood, and that is an unexpected decision that many will talk about for as long as this match is debated. The most shocking thing other than the lack of creative writing in this match was that it went on last, as who really expected these men to put on a solid main event in their fifties?
