5 shocking twists WWE can pull-off at WrestleMania 34

WrestleMania 34
The granddaddy of them all!

We are just 3 weeks away from the WWE's biggest show of the year 'WrestleMania 34'. The show is all set to take place on April 8th, at the 'Mercedes Benz Super-dome' in New Orleans.

The match card has started to take shape and it's only a matter of 2 weeks until we have the final match card for the event.

The fans have been saying that the WWE has become too predictable as of late and, it is true that some part of the WWE programming is too predictable, but most of it is due to the spoilers the WWE insiders throw out to various sources.

But it's the WWE we're talking about. The company is known to throw swerve balls when the fans least expect. We can expect WWE to play the swerve game at WrestleMania 34 and take the fans by surprise.

With that said, let's look at the 5 ways the WWE can make some shocking twists at WrestleMania 34.

#5 Charlotte Flair conquers Asuka's undefeated streak

Asuka vs Charlotte
The Queen vs The Empress

Asuka, the winner of the first-ever Women's Royal Rumble match has decided to challenge Charlotte for the SmackDown Women's Championship at WrestleMania 34.

The match was set, when Asuka confronted Charlotte after the latter's match against Ruby Riott at Fastlane. To be honest, this is a way better match for Asuka, rather than having her challenge the Raw Women's Champion Alexa Bliss.

This match could be one of the best matches at WrestleMania 34, as the stakes are higher for this bout. Charlotte will put her title on the line and, Asuka will put her undefeated streak on the line when the two collide at WrestleMania.

It is highly possible that Asuka will walk away with the SmackDown Women's Championship at WrestleMania, but WWE can play the surprise factor in this match and have 'The Queen' break Asuka's undefeated streak.

#4 Braun Strowman becomes the Tag Team Champion

Braun Strowman
Could he challenge The Bar alone?

One has to feel for Braun Strowman because, after having all the momentum throughout the year he has not found a singles spot in the WrestleMania 34 match-card.

The monster among men has found a controversial way into the WrestleMania 34 match-card, after he won a Tag Team Battle Royal, single-handedly, to become the number one contender for the Raw Tag Team Championship.

The question now, is that who will be his partner for the title match at WrestleMania? Many are speculating that Elias would be Strowman's partner to take on the Bar for the Tag Titles.

But WWE can spice things up a bit by making Strowman win the Raw Tag Team Championships all by himself. This could make things really interesting and make the Tag Team Title picture more intriguing after WrestleMania.

#3 Ronda Rousey gets pinned by Stephanie McMahon

Kurt Angle and Ronda Rousey vs Triple H and Stephanie McMahon
Ronda Rousey may end up losing her debut match

WWE signed Ronda Rousey to a full-time contract this year. The former UFC Women's Bantamweight Champion, made her official WWE debut at the Royal Rumble when she confronted the two Women's Champions and the women's Royal Rumble winner.

Rousey will make her in-ring debut at WrestleMania 34 when she teams up with Raw General Manager Kurt Angle to take on the Authority in a Mixed Tag Team match.

Triple H has been putting over other talents on the past few WrestleManias and it is expected that the boss couple could put Rousey and Angle over at WrestleMania 34.

Ronda Rousey's WWE debut has been received with mixed reactions from the WWE Universe and, it's certainly not the WWE expected. This might end up in Rousey losing her debut match at WrestleMania 34 possibly being pinned by Stephanie McMahon and move the feud forward when she eventually enters the Women's Title picture.

#2 Undertaker defeated again

Undertaker
Will this be the Undertaker's last match?

We all thought that we had seen the last of the Undertaker after he was defeated by Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 33 last year.

The WWE Universe was split as there was a lot of debate going on if the Undertaker had officially retired from the WWE or not.

Nevertheless, there were a few instances which unintentionally hinted that the 'Dead Man' was not done from wrestling. The first instance came when WWE announced Goldberg as the head inductee into the 2018 class of the WWE Hall of Fame.

The second instance was when the Undertaker made his return to WWE on the 25th-anniversary episode of Raw and, was bearing no physical signs of retirement. The third instance came when he posted his work-out videos on Instagram.

All these made us draw to the conclusion that the Undertaker is indeed not retired. Now he is all set to take on John Cena at WrestleMania 34 as the latter has laid out a WrestleMania challenge to the dead man.

The match is set to take a prominent role in the WrestleMania 34 match-card as it could finally be the Undertaker's retirement match. WWE can send him off with a win against John Cena, but don't be shocked to see the Undertaker lose his second consecutive WrestleMania match in a row and finally hang up his boots.

#1 AJ Styles Retains the Championship

Styles vs Nakamura
AJ Styles vs Shinsuke 'Snickers' Nakamura

The highly anticipated dream match between AJ Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura is all set to take place at WrestleMania 34.

The fans have been wanting to see this match ever since Nakamura made his main roster debut as a part of SmackDown Live. They did have a brief moment during their Money in the Bank ladder match but the fans were waiting for them to have a one-on-one match.

Nakamura won the 2018 Men's Royal Rumble match earning himself a championship match at WrestleMania 34. He quite predictably chose to challenge AJ Styles for the WWE Championship.

Nakamura defeated AJ Styles in their previous encounter at NJPW's WrestleKingdom 10. The rematch of that classic bout will take place in the WWE at WrestleMania 34 and the anticipations are sky-high.

Nakamura is expected to defeat AJ Styles and become the new WWE Champion at WrestleMania 34. But WWE once again can throw the swerve-ball and have AJ Styles retain the WWE Championship and let him have his deserved WrestleMania moment.
