If there's a momentous time for WWE to pull the trigger on this feud, it is now. The Rock's monstrous return to the company could be put to sleep by a dejected heel in Kevin Owens.
While we all admire Owens for his fantastic wit and charisma, a lot of the fans really miss the monstrous heel persona that made him unstoppable during his NXT days.
Bringing that back and challenging the biggest superstar in the history of this business could make for some interesting television on Monday Night Raw.
With rumours of the Great One coming back doing the rounds, the fans are already rejecting the idea of him colliding with the Big Dog at WrestleMania.
Since the idea of having that bout could backfire, a strong heel in Kevin Owens could work wonders with the Rock, and since the latter is already a big fan of the Prizefighter, the two could probably deliver an iconic feud.
A feud of this magnitude would bring real legitimacy to Kevin Owens' and assist him in rising on the top of the mountain as a mainstream WWE superstar.
