What will happen when Cain Valesquez and Brock Lesnar meet in The Royal Rumble.

Brock Lesnar and Cain Velasquez have both announced that they will compete in this year's Royal Rumble and one has to wonder if this is WWE's way of restarting their rivalry? In fact, between Lesnar refusing to defend the WWE title at The Royal Rumble and Velasquez's sudden announcement, one has to wonder if these two are set to collide?

Keep in mind that these two last went one-on-one when Brock Lesnar decimated Velasquez at Crown Jewel and that wasn't even the first time the two met. That distinction goes to UFC 121, where Velasquez beat Lesnar by TKO in The Octagon. Velasquez even won knockout of the night for vanquishing Lesnar in the first round of the contest.

With that being said and WWE seemingly intent on some kind of rubber match between the two Superstars, it looks like The Royal Rumble is their way to bring them together again. Whether it happens by Velasquez eliminating Lesnar in The Royal Rumble match or just end up taking each other out, the point seems to be to work up to this dream match.
