#2. Jushin "Thunder" Liger has wrestled just one match for WWE
Jushin "Thunder" Liger is a WCW legend. But up until his appearance for WWE in 2015, he was one of the biggest stars who hadn't wrestled for Vince McMahon's promotion.
The star retired after his 35-year career back in January 2020. However, WWE ensured that the wrestling legend was able to leave his mark on WWE before retiring from this industry.
Back in 2015, Liger was the opponent for Tyler Breeze at NXT Takeover: Brooklyn. This was easily one of the better matches of the night. Liger also picked up a victory on his debut.
This was the only proper WWE event where Liger wrestled for the promotion. Previously, he had wrestled at the WWF/AJPW/NJPW Wrestling Summit in 1990. But that didn't really count, as he wrestled in a dark match. The Lucha Libre legend would be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame class of 2020, just a few months after his lengthy wrestling came to an end.
The 2020 Hall of Fame ceremony has been delayed for the foreseeable future, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
