In all likelihood, Brock Lesnar will defend the Universal Championship at Money in the Bank on June 17, 2018, eight days after he surpasses CM Punk's 434-day reign as WWE Champion.

According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Lesnar isn't under contract for Summerslam, which means that the University of Minnesota product could drop Monday Night Raw's biggest prize at Money in the Bank.

Without any further ado, here are 5 Superstars who could face Brock Lesnar at Money in the Bank.

#1 Dean Ambrose

During a recent episode of Wrestling Observer Live, Bryan Alvarez stated that Dean Ambrose had started training for a return to in-ring action.

Since The Lunatic Fringe has largely been squandered by WWE, it is vitally important that he makes an emphatic comeback from injury to have any chance of tapping into his enormous potential.

Most fans and pundits believe that Ambrose's hopes of becoming a top babyface were dashed after his lopsided loss to Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 32.

If the Cincinnati native were put on a hard-hitting bout with the former UFC Heavyweight Champion at Money in the Bank, he could exorcise some of his demons and finally establish himself as a main eventer.

#2 Roman Reigns

At the Greatest Royal Rumble, Roman Reigns fell just short of winning the Universal Championship in a controversial finish, setting the stage for a rematch at Money in the Bank.

On a recent episode of the Backstage in WWE podcast, Brad Shepherd reported that Vince McMahon was still planning to push Reigns as WWE's top babyface despite canceling his coronation at Money in the Bank.

Expect The Big Dog to dethrone Lesnar at the June pay-per-view as a rabid Chicago crowd voices its disapproval.

#3 Braun Strowman

According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, 'The Monster Among Men' is one of two contenders, the other being Roman Reigns, who could challenge Brock Lesnar for the Universal title at Money in the Bank.

Since he's arguably one of the most popular Superstars on the WWE roster, Strowman would certainly be the right person to take the Universal title from Brock Lesnar. As an added bonus, the Chicago crowd would even get behind him as a conquering babyface.

#4 Seth Rollins

After his botched babyface turn in the fall of 2016, Seth Rollins was well and truly stuck in the doldrums.

Even though the brief Shield reunion brought him back to the main event picture, The Iowa native just couldn't find his footing as a babyface star.

This narrative was rewritten on the February 19, 2018, episode of Monday Night Raw when Rollins defeated both Roman Reigns and John Cena on the same night, immediately breathing life back into his singles career.

He's also established himself as one of the world's best wrestlers yet again with a number of marathon performances. Wouldn't you like to see Rollins hold both the Intercontinental and Universal title at the same time? He certainly deserves it for his work in recent months.

#5 Bobby Lashley

When Bobby Lashley returned to WWE on the episode of Raw after WrestleMania, expectations were high for the former ECW Champion. Since then, he hasn't been featured in a singles program and has instead found himself in a tag-team with Braun Strowman.

Two terrible botches at the Greatest Royal Rumble didn't help Lashley's standing with the fans either. So, why not hit the reset button on the former Impact Wrestling standout by giving him a dream match with Brock Lesnar?
