Ali is one of Smackdown Live's fastest rising babyfaces, as there is just something about the nature of his character that makes him truly likeable to the general and die-hard audience, but if there is one thing that has made Ali a great sight to behold on Tuesday nights, then it is his surprisingly good booking.

WWE essentially picked the former cruiserweight from obscurity on 205 Live and placed him in some of the biggest matches no one thought he would contest at this stage in his career. From taking Daniel Bryan to the limit for the WWE Title to getting the best of Randy Orton, it seems like Ali has the potential to move up the ladder in WWE, as the company themselves are making an effort in ensuring that happens.

So, the real question on everyone's minds with regards to Ali at the moment is whether WWE will take him to the next level? If they do, then the best option for Ali's breakout fued would be with Shane McMahon. McMahon vs Ali would be a daredevil's fantasy, as both these men are willing to soar to heights unimagined to entertain the fans, moreover, the one thing that would make this programme work is their characters.

Shane is a fairly great heel that feels totally detestable, while Ali is the proverbial people's champion, WWE could strike lightning a bottle with this combination if they wanted to create a new breakout star.

However, we all know that his reign may be limited, as the chances of WWE keeping this feel-good story of a loyal wrestler finally getting rewarded for his decade long services is going to run out of steam, so, why not end it in white hot fashion?

The main thing with Kofi's WWE Title reign is that it has the potential to turn one of his New Day brothers into the next big thing, and you all know who's this person. WWE has already planted the idea into the minds of wrestling fans that Big E could return as a heel when he recovers from injury, and this would honestly be best for business.

Imagine Big E aligning with the McMahon's to end his longtime best friends dream, it would be one of the best heels turns of the decade, as this could spark a rivalry between Kofi and Shane McMahon, which would be satisfying to watch when you consider how Shane's father tried to screw Kingston, and now Shane has suddenly become his father's protector.
