Rey Mysterio must be involved in more compelling storylines

Rey Mysterio is one of the most iconic WWE Superstars to have ever stepped inside the ring. He has plenty of accolades to his name and is certainly one of the most-liked wrestlers in WWE today. The recent times have seen him feud with Brock Lesnar that also involved the Mexican Superstar’s son. Following that, Mysterio has been seen backing Humberto Carrillo as the duo have been involved in an extended feud with Andrade and Angel Garza.

Although Mysterio has delivered good matches in the few months, we have barely seen him being involved in the world title picture. While some might say that he has been doing his bit in putting over the likes of Andrade, Carrillo, and Garza, one can’t deny that his potential is not limited to acting as a catalyst in monotonous storylines.

WWE must make use of Mysterio in the title pictures so that he can help elevate the competition. Or if WWE wants him to continue working with Andrade, Carrillo, and Garza, they must have him involved in a much more compelling manner. Mysterio’s contract with WWE will end this year, and it will be a huge loss for WWE to see him walk away from the promotion and join another.
