Rusev Day is a gold gimmick that would thrive on an average Raw roster

WWE has made it apparently clear that whether Rusev sells a ton of merchandise, receives electric reactions and puts on great matches in the ring, they don’t care about capitalizing on his success. Also, for many fans that is extraordinarily frustrating, as WWE is infamous for not pushing superstars that get ‘over’ themselves.

However, while Smackdown Live is a great place for Rusev, the number of megastars on the roster will certainly push him down the ladder of success on the blue brand. Therefore, Raw would’ve been the perfect place for Rusev to perfect his Rusev Day gimmick, as Raw lacks a genuinely underutilized megastar such as Rusev.
