This may sound a bit surprising to many, but hear me out. While Matt Riddle may not exactly be a 'big man' like the others on the list, his past in MMA and ability to generate buzz around him make him the perfect candidate to replace the former UFC Champion Brock Lesnar.

The Original Bro currently has the gimmick of having a lackadaisical approach even though he turns into a fighting machine when inside the ring. Much like Brock Lesnar, Riddle is being seen as someone who is an instant hit with the fans just like Brock Lesnar was when he debuted.

There had been reports saying that Vince McMahon is high on Matt Riddle as he sees Shawn Michaels in the Superstar. While Brock Lesnar has stated that he has no interest in working with Matt Riddle, a feud between the two with Riddle coming out on top would establish the former NXT Tag-Team Champion as the new dominant MMA-style Superstar on the block.

You’ve got Vince who I’m pretty sure is a big fan of mine and then you have [SmackDown executive director] Bruce Prichard who I know is a big fan of mine.
