Lee managed to impress the authorities enough to have himself involved in the title picture. He then defeated the Undisputed Era’s Roderick Strong to win the NXT North American Championship. He was one of the breakout stars of 2019 and it is believed that he is quickly becoming one of Vince McMahon’s favorite Superstars on the entire roster.

Based on his performances coupled with the backstage reaction, it’s fair to assume that a huge push awaits him in the next few months. Therefore, WWE can slowly build him up as an unstoppable beast before he becomes the first choice to replace Lesnar in the company. He has the kind of stature that is preferred by Vince and maybe that will play a huge role in scripting his future within the company.
