While initial rumours suggested she had signed a contract for several years with the company, later reports suggested that she had in fact only signed a deal through to WrestleMania 35.
Rousey is the biggest name in the WWE at the moment, and the company have already shown that they intend to rely on her quite heavily for their marketing going forward.
Rousey has universal appeal and her face on the cover of a video game is guaranteed to not only attract wrestling fans, but also casual viewers and non-fans alike.
