Nia Jax last competed on television during the WrestleMania 35 event where she partnered with Tamina to take on Bayley & Sasha Banks, The IIconics, and Beth Phoenix & Natalya for the Women’s Tag Team Championships.
The match was won by The IIconics, who took the title away from Bayley & Banks. Soon afterward, it was announced that Jax had suffered anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) tears on both of her knees and would require at least nine months to recover.
Nia Jax was playing a heel character at the time, and fans didn’t care much when she was missing from action. However, recently fans have been wanting to watch The Irresistible Force back in action, as the competition in the women’s division is spicing up.
Royal Rumbles have always proven to be a great stage for Superstars to mark their returns, and we could watch Jax return with a new character during the event.
Not only will this be good news for the WWE Universe, but it will be bad news for the women in the ring and the reigning Champions as Jax has the potential to pull off a win during the Rumble.
A return at the Rumble will allow Nia Jax to get the crowd behind her and refresh her character while building towards her next feud.
