5 Superstars who could return on RAW after WrestleMania 34

The RAW after WrestleMania is arguably the most exciting show of the entire calendar year.

The crowd is energetic throughout the night, coming up with unique chants, now and then. The atmosphere is quite surreal, and it is occasions like these which can make one fall in love with wrestling.

The night is full of pleasant surprises and memorable moments, either in the form of an NXT Superstar making his main-roster debut or in the form of a former WWE Superstar returning to the company.

Some of these returns include Brock Lesnar returning to the WWE on the night after WrestleMania 28 to a thunderous reaction.

The night after WrestleMania 32 saw Big Cass and Enzo make their official RAW debut, much to the delight of the fans.

WWE would do it's best to make the April 9th RAW memorable as well. Let's speculate as to what those surprises could be.

Here's the list of five such superstars who make their return to the WWE on the night after WrestleMania 34.

#5 Drew McIntyre

McIntyre was on the shelf due to a torn bicep

'The Sinister Scotsman' was last seen on WWE TV at NXT Takeover: War Games, where he lost his NXT Championship to Andrade 'Cien' Almas.

McIntyre suffered an injury during the match and was away from in-ring action ever since.

However, he was recently seen in the Performance Center, which led to fans speculating his return.

It would be a wise decision to have him return on the main roster, and that too, on the 9th April edition of RAW.

'The Chosen One' was part of the WWE roster back in 2009 before he was released in 2014.

After having made a name for himself on the independent wrestling scene, McIntyre returned to WWE's NXT, wherein he went on to become NXT Champion.

'The Celtic Colossus' would make for an impressive heel act, and he should start his run, by entering into a feud with a top-level superstar like Finn Balor or Seth Rollins.

The crowd would pop big time, seeing the former 'Three Man Band' member make his return to the WWE after such a long hiatus.

#4 Rey Mysterio

Mysterio made a shocking return at No.27 in the Royal Rumble

Rey Mysterio made a sensational appearance in the Royal Rumble match of 2018 to a thunderous ovation.

Fans were shocked to see the 'Master of the 619' return to a WWE ring but were disappointed to know that it was a one-time deal only.

However, according to Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE and Mysterio are still involved in negotiations, and a return to the WWE may be written in the cards.

An injury suffered by Mysterio while wrestling at an indie show may have put the negotiations on a backtrack.

However, WWE must try their best to bring 'the Masked Luchador' back into its fold as the newest addition to the Cruiserweight division.

With a new Cruiserweight Champion crowned at WrestleMania, Mysterio could return on the night after Mania to challenge him.

His presence would inject new life into the division, and, would definitely, draw higher ratings for 205 Live.

#3 Jeff Hardy

Jeff Hardy was sidelined with a shoulder injury

Jeff and Matt Hardy often referred to as the Hardy Boyz, were to kick-start a rivalry with the Revival before The Charismatic Enigma was sidelined with a shoulder injury in September.

The recovery period for the injury was believed to be around four to six months, which means he would be medically fit to return to in-ring action, by somewhere around April.

Hardy should make his proper return on the RAW after Mania as 'Brother Nero' and immediately challenge for the Tag Team Championships, along with his brother.

Fans have been long clamoring for his return, and his comeback in the 'Brother Nero' character would blow the roof off the Smoothie King Center.

#2 Samoa Joe

'The Right Hand of Destruction' Samoa Joe, has been out with an injury since January.

Joe was supposed to be involved in the Men's Royal Rumble match, and enter into a rivalry with John Cena. However, as destiny intended it, he was pulled from the match due to an injury, and those plans were canceled.

He was supposed to return to action by mid-March, but it seems there aren't any significant storylines for him.

The night after Mania would be an ideal time for 'The Destroyer' to make his comeback and pick up right where he left off.

It would be a good opportunity for WWE to insert him into the title picture immediately, be it the Intercontinental or Universal Championship.

The 'Samoan Submission Specialist' is a great heel act, and with Brock Lesnar gone, he might be the one to fill that void.

#1 Bobby Lashley

La
Lashley has not negotiated a new deal with Impact Wrestling

The rumor mill has been running wild with reports of Lashley making his much-awaited return to WWE soon.

Fans would be sent into a frenzy if 'the Destroyer' was to make his comeback on the night after Mania, and straight away, went after 'the Beast Incarnate' Brock Lesnar.

A Lesnar-Lashley contest is a 'dream match' fans have long asked for.

According to Dave Meltzer, there are certain clauses in Lesnar's contract that extend his deal up to August. So, a Summerslam clash between the two mammoths is a huge possibility.

The night after Wrestlemania would be an ideal stage to kick-start this rivalry. This would keep casual fans interested in the product, and draw huge ratings for RAW.

Lashley could be the one to finally knock Lesnar off the top, and start his second run in the company with a dominant win over Lesnar.

'The Walking Armageddon' would also make an ideal opponent for superstars like Reigns, Strowman, Rollins, and so on.
