Remember the Good Ol' Days when Balor was giving career-defining performance at the Royal Rumble and regularly wrestling instant classics with the likes of Seth Rollins and The Miz? Oh Yeah, that was only a few months ago. But the way Balor has been booked in the months after WrestleMania has made this period feel like a time phase that has existed since eternity.
Balor is a gem of a wrestler, and he has proven this time in and time out inside the WWE ring, but it seems like WWE wants nothing with his Greek God looks or his smooth in-ring work. Instead, they want him to be a part of meaningless skits and matches and walk around with that creepy smile on his face.
I know it is pretty clear that Balor won't ever reach the top of the ladder again, but that doesn't mean he should not be part of any reasonable feud. After all that Balor has endured in the past few months, the only way to make up for that is by having him feud with Dolph Ziggler and maybe even win the Intercontinental Title. Balor is a true workhorse, and he deserves to wear the workhorse's title at least once around his waist.
Take that bloody smile off his face, bring the Demon back, Give him the Intercontinental Title as see the magic that he will create in the coming months.
