5 Superstars who deserve better booking after Summerslam

#2 Asuka

The Fallen Empress of Past.
The Fallen Empress of Past.

It is a proven fact that superstars usually tend to endure a big fall in credibility once they endure their first loss after a long undefeated streak. The only reason why The Undertaker was the king of WrestleMania, or Goldberg was the Main Man in WCW, was because they had the tag of being undefeated for a long time.

While both of them somehow managed to retain their aura because of the way they were presented in the aftermath, the same can not be said about Asuka. Once regarded as the most dominant female superstar in the entire WWE, the booking has not been so kind to the Empress of Tomorrow. Ever since she lost her 914 days streak to Charlotte, Asuka has lost to, of all people, Carmella three times. Three Goddamn Times.

Asuka was a phenomenon in NXT. She is sensational in the ring and has a wrestling style that is second to no one in the company. While the damage that WWE has inflicted on Asuka since WrestleMania is far from repairable, anything would be better than completely turning her into the Fallen Princess of the Past. Asuka was great as heel in NXT, and, with fan favorites like Becky Lynch and Charlotte vying for the title, a feud with either of them once they win the title would be the perfect way to start the rehabilitation process of Asuka
