Sting was one of the biggest names in WCW to have not signed with WWE after WCW went out of business.

Sting was inarguably the biggest name in professional wrestling who never signed with WWE. Well, the said words were true until Sting would eventually sign with WWE in 2014. Sting made his much-awaited debut at Survivor Series 2014 aiding Dolph Ziggler to defeat Team Authority.

Sting continued his feud with The Authority which would eventually lead to a match against Triple H at Wrestlemania 31. The match involved interference from the members of both D-Generation X and New World Order. Triple H ultimately won the match after hitting Sting with his signature sledgehammer, with the commentary team noting it as the end of the rivalry between WWE and WCW.
