'The Viper' is back, and when he strikes, he strikes really hard. Randy Orton is rumoured to lock horns this year at SummerSlam with Shinsuke Nakamura and Jeff Hardy for the U.S. Championship.
While his previous run has been pretty disappointing as a face, with horrible feuds with Bobby Roode, Jinder Mahal, and Bray Wyatt, his recent run as a heel has brought some credibility to the Apex Predator.
The former U.S. Champion carries a decent record of six wins and four losses at the biggest party of the summer.
The 14-time World Champion has main-evented SummerSlam on four occasions, with his last headliner coming against Brock Lesnar in a highly debatable contest.
The ending sparked a lot of debate and ended up being one of the most disappointing bouts of Orton's career.
Technically being involved in four main-events, the Viper also disturbed the 2013 ending of SummerSlam, by cashing in his MITB on a victorious Daniel Bryan which turned into one of the greatest storylines of all time.
Since everyone is happy that the Legend Killer has returned in sensational form, let's hope that Orton enjoys the biggest party of the summer this year.
