Tye Dillinger is another example of a superstar that really needs to turn heel. The Perfect 10's run on the Smackdown Live roster has been far from perfect. In NXT, Dillinger actually got himself over by constantly losing matches- and the fans were fully backing him to be something as they would always chant "10" as loud as possible.

But fast forward to 2018, and Dillinger's career on the main roster has been nothing but a shambles as his fan support from NXT hasn't translated very well onto the main roster at all. It's clear that the WWE has attempted to regain the magic by booking him exactly as they did in NXT, but it's clearly a strategy that hasn't worked yet.

There are so many babyfaces on the Smackdown Live roster that completely eclipse Dillinger in terms of fan reaction. This is the main reason why Dillinger needs to turn heel. At the age of 37, there may not be a huge world championship future for Dillinger- but there is still so much potential for his character to be useful due to his experience.

The Smackdown Live roster has multiple faces that could be used as execution for a potential heel turn for Dillinger. You have superstars such as Rey Mysterio, Rusev or even Jeff Hardy that can be used to make Dillinger look very strong. A cocky and snarky character would clearly work best for Dillinger due to his size.

The character of being The Perfect 10 is tailor-made for a heel superstar, and as we've seen before with the reverse psychology in superstars like Becky Lynch- a heel turn might possibly be the recipe of what it takes to finally get Dillinger over.
