5 WWE superstars who should defeat Brock Lesnar before he quits

All good things must come to an end.

Brock Lesnar is a bonafide future Hall of Famer and is one of the biggest crowd pullers in the history of the WWE. From ending the Undertaker's undefeated winning streak at WrestleMania to being the most dominant Universal champ ever; Brock Lesnar has done it all.

Other wrestlers cannot even dream of being at the receiving end of a monstrous push that the 'Beast Incarnate' has been awarded in the past few years.

But everything is not hunky dory for the Universal Champion. His current tryst with the WWE continues to be marred by a plethora of criticism. Majority of the flak coming his way is because of his prolonged absence from WWE television and his brief one-sided matches. But love him or hate him, one certainly cannot ignore BROOOCCKK LESNARRR. Sadly, Lesnar is not expected to be around much longer.

His current WWE contract is expected to expire in the year 2018 and if the grapevine is to be believed, then he has no intentions of signing a new deal with the WWE. If his epic match against the phenomenal AJ Styles was any indication, then Brock still has a few good years left in him. Hopefully, the Beast will stick around a bit longer.

But if he decides to finally call it a day, then he must put over younger guys before riding off into the sunset. Here are five current WWE superstars who must defeat Brock Lesnar before he quits WWE.

#1. Roman Reigns

Roman Reigns defeating Brock Lesnar seems like a lock at the moment.

Let’s get the most obvious name out of the way first. WWE's numero Uno agenda behind Lesnar's gigantic push is to make him lose to Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 34.

The WWE is gung-ho about the Big Dog and wants to establish him as the next John Cena. Thus, it is high time that the WWE Universe comes to terms with the fact that Vince McMahon will shove Reigns down their throats, whether they like it or not. And let’s accept the fact that even though everybody loves to hate Roman Reigns, he is not that bad.

Reigns might not be the best wrestler in the world, but he is not the worst one either. The Shield powerhouse is one of the biggest ticket sellers in the company at the moment. Roman also invokes a response at a very emotional level from the fans which other wrestlers can only dream of. Therefore, it comes as no surprise that the WWE wants The Big Dog to be the next face of the company.

Brock Lesnar is the champion of the Universe at the moment! He is also one of the most dominating wrestlers to ever step inside a WWE ring. Thus, defeating the man who conquered the streak at Wrestlemania will coronate Reigns as the most fierce wrestler on the entire roster.

Their previous Wrestlemania encounter was stellar, and the duo is expected to deliver a hard-hitting classic once again at Wrestlemania 34. In a match between the only two superstars to beat The Undertaker at the grandest stage of them all, Brock should pass on the torch to Roman Reigns as it will go a long way to establish Roman as the new beast in town.

#2. AJ Styles

AJ Styles almost defeated the beast at Survivor Series.

WWE fans got a massive respite when AJ Styles defeated Jinder Mahal to become a two-time WWE champion and everybody expected AJ Styles vs. Brock Lesnar to be a good match after the sudden title change.

However, these two exceptionally gifted athletes delivered an instant classic out of nowhere instead. Some are even calling their bout a match of the year candidate. This was also Brock Lesnar’s best match in a long time. The Beast proved that if booked properly, he can still deliver solid matches inside the squared circle.

But however great their match was, one can't help but feel that the wrong man won. Lesnar is a part-time performer who is going to leave soon. On the other hand, AJ is one of the best wrestlers in the world at the moment. The future belongs to the Phenomenal One, and thus, he should have defeated the part-timer at Survivor Series.

But what’s done is done.

WWE should now ensure that before Brock Lesnar quits the WWE, AJ Styles must pick a clean victory over him. Both AJ Styles and the WWE Universe deserve to see it.

#3. Samoa Joe

Samoa Joe certainly has what it takes to beat Brock Lesnar.

If there is one man in the WWE who can go head to head with Brock Lesnar without batting an eyelid, it is the Samoan submission machine, Samoa Joe.

Joe had made a name for himself by battling it out all over the world but the former TNA standout has finally arrived where he belongs and is well on his way to becoming one of the biggest stars of the WWE at the moment. But in order to reach the pinnacle of the WWE, Joe needs a victory over a well-established superstar like Lesnar.

Lesnar and Joe have already faced each other once in a hard-hitting matchup. The Monster took the Beast Incarnate to the limit and almost pulled off a surprise win. The Samoan definitely deserves a rematch against the beast, but this time around he also deserves to have his hand raised in victory.

While Joe still needs to have many dream matches against the likes of AJ Styles, Bobby Roode, Braun Strowman, John Cena, Kurt Angle and Eric Young in the WWE, a rematch against Lesnar will certainly be a match for the ages that the entire WWE Universe wants to see the most.

#4. Kevin Owens

Kevin Owens is the undisputed future of the WWE.

Ever since his debut in the WWE, Kevin Owens has taken the entire WWE Universe by storm and The Prizefighter has done nothing but transform into one of the best in-ring performers in the professional wrestling business during his rise.

KO possesses awe-inspiring mic skills that make him an invaluable asset for the WWE. The Kevin Owens barrage has just begun, and he is surely a legend in the making. Owens has defeated some of the biggest names in the business today, but he is yet to defeat the most protected superstar in WWE history.

Kevin Owens Vs. Brock Lesnar was once rumoured to take place at a major PPV. The mere thought of this match taking place had sent the entire WWE fanbase into a frenzy, but much to the disappointment of one and all, the bout never happened on a PPV.

Thus, a fight between Brock Lesnar and Kevin Owens is a dream match of epic proportions that the WWE should book almost instantly. A win over the Heyman's legendary client will do wonders for KO's roller-coaster career. Imagine the promo wars between Heyman and Owens! Mouth-watering!

#5. Braun Strowman

Braun Strowman is 'The Next Big Thing'.

Brock Lesnar was once called the Next Big Thing, and now the same title can be awarded to Braun Strowman. The Monster Among Men is without any shadow of a doubt the best thing to happen to the WWE in a long time. Strowman might very well be the agilest monster to ever grace a WWE ring.

Surprisingly, Strowman was a fan favourite even when he was a heel, which proves that the WWE should do what’s best for business by establishing him as the next beast. Both the WWE Universe and Strowman have worked hard for it to come to fruition.

When Lesnar squared off against Strowman a few months back, everyone was expecting and hoping for the monster to win. But unfortunately, Brock was able to conquer Braun with ridiculous ease. One mammoth F5 out of nowhere was all it took.

Braun is the best candidate available to replace Lesnar as the next unstoppable juggernaut of the WWE. Thus, the former Wyatt Family member and the hottest thing on RAW right now should defeat Lesnar sooner rather than later to claim his spot at the peak of the mountain called the WWE.
