Strowman has come close to being champion multiple times

Arguably the most obvious person on this list, Braun Strowman is yet to hold the Universal Championship, despite multiple opportunities.

The Monster Among Men got closest at Crown Jewel, though an interfering Constable blocked him in his tracks.

Now, Strowman is having to go through hoops, playing nice at Survivor Series just to get a shot at getting a shot to face Lesnar at the Royal Rumble.

Whilst I don't see the title switching hands at the Rumble, Strowman could still compete for it down the line, maybe by winning the men's Royal Rumble later that same night.

After all, Strowman is no stranger to Rumbles, winning the 50-man Greatest Royal Rumble in April, eliminating a record 13 Superstars.

Beating the Beast at WrestleMania could be the storybook ending Strowman needs on his epic odyssey to the title.
