Heath Slater is a WWE veteran. He started off in the very first season of NXT back in 2010 along with the likes of Daniel Bryan, Wade Barrett, David Otunga among other. He has featured in several tag teams and factions, and became the first ever SmackDown Tag Team Champion along with Rhyno in 2016.
Heath Slater is a valuable asset to the company, a safe worker who can do everything. Similar to Gable, Slater can stand out as a singles superstar in NXT if given the opportunity.
Ever since he moved out of SmackDown Live in 2017, he has done virtually nothing on the main roster and has been lost in the shuffle. Slater returning to the brand where he started nine years ago will be an iconic moment.
