Last week was really a big week for every WWE fan. As we were part of WrestleMania 35 weekend which featured NXT Takeover: New York, WWE Hall of Fame 2019, WrestleMania, Raw, and SmackDown. Even though it was a long week, still it was quite exciting.

Next week in WWE we will witness WWE Superstar Shake-Up 2019 which will be returning for the third consecutive year after 2017 and 2018. The Shake-Ups will happen during Raw and SmackDown as different superstars will switch their brands.

As we have seen in the past Superstar Shake-Ups, there will be a lot of surprises in store for the fans. This year's Superstar Shake-Up will feature unbelievable trades as well as returns of former superstars, and debuts from NXT.

Here are five surprises that could happen at Superstar Shake-Up 2019.

#5 Sasha Banks and Bayley split to different rosters

Could Sasha Banks and Bayley split during the Superstar Shake-Up next week?

Sasha Banks and Bayley became the first WWE Women's Tag Team Champions at the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view in February. They lost their titles at WrestleMania 35 in a Fatal 4-Way tag team match to The IIconics.

The title change was quite shocking as everyone expected Banks and Bayley to retain their titles since they had won it just two months ago. There were rumors that Banks was really upset after the title loss and she even considered quitting WWE.

Now, WWE has to handle this situation properly, as Banks and Bayley are two of the top stars in the women's division and now they should ascend them back to the Raw or SmackDown women's title picture.

The only way to do it is by splitting both women to different rosters, WWE can send either of the women to the SmackDown roster. This way both women will be able to get back to the women's main-event title picture.

#4 Kofi Kingston stays on SmackDown, Big E and Xavier Woods move to Raw

The New Day's member, Kofi Kingston, defeated WWE Champion, Daniel Bryan, at WrestleMania 35. The win was quite monumental as Kingston had been struggling for months to get a WWE Title shot, but each time he was swindled by Vince McMahon.

Now that Kingston is the top champion of SmackDown, he needs to work as a singles competitor going forward. WWE can implode The New Day, but the company will likely push Big E to the WWE Title picture and Xavier Woods will fade away as just another superstar.

The best thing WWE can do is shift Big E and Woods to Raw as the New Day and keep Kingston on SmackDown. This way, The New Day could continue working as a tag team on Raw while Kingston works as a singles star on SmackDown.

#3 Mid-card champions switch brands

Finn Bálor won the Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania 35 by defeating Bobby Lashley, whereas, Samoa Joe retained his United States Championship by defeating Rey Mysterio at the show of shows.

In the past during Superstar Shake-Up 2017, both mid-card champions switched brands as Intercontinental Champion, Dean Ambrose, moved to Raw and United States Champion, Kevin Owens, moved to SmackDown.

Last year during Superstar Shake-Up 2018, both titles remained on the host brands, this year WWE can once again switch both titles to different brands. As then it would give fans some exciting rivalries and matches on both shows.

#2 AJ Styles goes to Raw and Roman Reigns moves to SmackDown

AJ Styles and Roman Reigns are two top stars of their respective brands. Both of them are huge babyfaces WWE always tends to push to the main event scene. This year at WrestleMania, both of them competed in mid-card feuds instead of the main event.

Both will be pushed soon to the main event picture, but they have been on the same brand since the inception of the brand split. Especially Styles, who is always expected to move to Raw every year but still ends up staying on SmackDown.

Reigns and Styles switching brands will give fresh rivalries to both men after they have competed against the same stars for nearly three years. So this switch would be surprising to many fans who have been following both top stars of the company.

#1 Brock Lesnar and Ronda Rousey remain on Raw

We all know WWE signed two new television deals last year for both Raw and SmackDown. Monday Night Raw will be remaining on the USA Network but SmackDown will move to Fox. So SmackDown will be promoted heavily just like Raw, going forward.

The deals are expected to begin from October 2019, so WWE has to put many top stars on the SmackDown roster. The best option is moving Brock Lesnar and Ronda Rousey to SmackDown, it will a tough call since both are mega stars in their respective divisions.

But WWE has to make this move if they want SmackDown to be a big show just like Raw. Even if they move any one of them to SmackDown, it would still be a great decision. But if both of them end up staying on Raw, it would be quite surprising.
