Kofi Kingston is one of the most protected champions in quite a while, with him racking up wins, week after week. However, to keep him fresh, to retain the idea of him being a babyface in the minds of one and all, he needs to be shown as vulnerable too. Randy Orton is the perfect person to bring his reign to an end.
And when this reign does end, I have a feeling that someone like Kevin Owens could step up to take Orton on. Owens looks like a misfit in the current roster, because, traditionally, Vince McMahon has liked his stars to look a certain way. Like Randy Orton, for instance.
Look who just shut down all of Tony Khan's critics! More HERE.
So, the feud between the two men could be the perfect corporate champion vs. people's champion routine. It's been done before, but it always works.
