Remember the confrontation that AJ Styles had with Shawn Michaels during the RAW Reunion episode? That led a lot of individuals to believe that the two men would have a clash down the line, owing to the fact that they are considered to be two of the greatest in-ring performers in WWE history. A clash between them could potentially be the best match that the world has ever seen.
Now, NXT moves to the USA Network in September and I personally think that the black and yellow brand needs a few familiar faces from RAW and SmackDown Live to increase its viewership. Who better than AJ Styles, who's not just a reigning and defending Champion but also an individual who bypassed the NXT system entirely, leading many to wonder what level of match he'd have had, without the restrictions of the main roster? In addition to Shawn Michaels, he could always face the likes of Johnny Gargano and Adam Cole.
Gallows and Anderson could accompany Styles when he heads to NXT and potentially have quite the match with the Undisputed ERA, helping cement their legacy to make them global sensations almost overnight.
