#3 Randy Orton ends KofiMania

Kofi Kingston defied the odds when he became the WWE Champion after 11 grueling years in WWE, much to the delight of fans worldwide who had been earnestly rooting for him. But no good thing ever lasts and I deem it all too likely that Randy Orton will be the WWE Champion when SmackDown Live heads to FOX.

Let me illustrate why this is the reason. Like it or not, ratings haven't been the strongest with Kofi Kingston as WWE Champion, and the sad bit is that he's not even the main event segment at times because it is Roman Reigns segment that close out the show on most weeks.

This will allow other top babyfaces like Kevin Owens to enter the title picture and maybe even Roman Reigns, who is riding high on goodwill, to feud with Randy Orton. Kofi Kingston can reenter the title picture after a while, after fans yearn for him once more.

Kofi Kingston's reign as Champion as been great but not nearly as electrifying as his ascent to the top in the feud with Daniel Bryan. Maybe some time away from the top spot will make fans interested in him to the degree that they were prior to WrestleMania.
