This is the perfect stage for a heel turn
Chad Gable and Bobby Roode have seemed like a cohesive unit thus far. However, there are little things that are worth noticing in the duo's chemistry. Gable always seems like the over-enthusiastic kid eager to outshine the grizzled veteran, even when he does Roode's signature glorious pose.

Maybe Roode will have none of it. Maybe he will turn on Gable and potentially go heel, reverting to his NXT character yet again. We all know that NXT Bobby Roode was the best Bobby Roode.
A heel turn will give Chad Gable a quality opponent to work with. After feuding with The Ascension for weeks, this is exactly what he needs.
