The coming together of these two under-utilized stars from the WWE was a surprise, with the SmackDown Live creative team trying to replicate the Sheamus-Cesaro partnership. The two individuals were not really looking like championship material back then and though the Swiss Superman was being appreciated by the WWE Universe, he was not on top of the writer’s push-list.
When they were booked together as a team and formed the Bar, things really went well for them and their career once again sky-rocketed in the Tag-Team division. They have won multiple tag-titles since then and it seems that the WWE management now wants something similar for Rusev and Nakamura in the long-run.
With that being said, Wrestlemania could be the perfect time to give them the push and develop them into something big. The team has looked like mere fillers so far and what better way to build them up, than a win at this “main event”.
