#4. The IIconics

Bilie Kay and Peyton Royce: The IIconics

Billie Kay and Peyton Royce were a force to be reckoned with in NXT and when they made their SmackDown Live debut right after WrestleMania 34, they looked to continue that trend on the main roster.

The duo targetted their sights on then SmackDown Women's Champion Charlotte Flair, who had just successfully defended her championship against Asuka at WrestleMania 34. The IIconics attacked Flair leaving her incapacitated and ripe for Carmella's successful Money in the Bank cash-in. With their debut, they had changed wrestling history.

Since then, The IIconics have slowly disappeared from atop SmackDown and found themselves floundering on the mid-card, a forgotten component of WWE's talent heavy women's division.

Lost in WWE's storyline hell, the two women are far from making an impact in the SmackDown Women's Championship rankings, but that could change with the inception of WWE Women's Tag Team Championships.

Make no mistake about it. Their recent failures don't mean the two Australian natives won't make an impact in the WWE. They are better together than apart and are built better for tag team success than singles glory. Having attended the same wrestling school in Australia, the two women have been inseparable ever since. They even make their way to the ring holding hands.

It would be difficult for most other pairings to match their chemistry, as Kay and Royce have been inseparable best friends for years now, both inside the WWE and outside. The two know their careers need a shot of life and the new Tag Team Championships may be just what the doctor ordered.
