5 things Brock Lesnar does better than any other WWE superstar

E

In many ways, Brock Lesnar has become one of the most polarizing figures in WWE today. He's a legend. He's a freak athlete, a multi-time World Champion and one of the most legitimate superstars in WWE history.

WWE fans haven't always been a big fan of Brock Lesnar's part-time schedule, but up till 2017, it wasn't too bad because it did keep him as a special attraction. Then the Universal Championship reign happened. The long-term scheme to get Roman Reigns over and coronate him at WrestleMania 34. And then after a year of his reign, fans were ready to see him finally drop the title.

Except he didn't. Brock Lesnar pinned him clean as a whistle and would go on to hold the title for another four gruelling months before finally losing to Roman Reigns. With the unfortunate announcement Reigns made, it seemed like we were back in square one.

Like him or not, there are a lot of things that Brock Lesnar does better than the rest of the WWE roster, and we list out a few of them.

#5 Negotiation skills

Whether you like him or not, Brock Lesnar has some of the most incredible negotiation skills ever. Think about it. Firstly, he is the sole exception in WWE where superstars aren't allowed to display their sponsors on their gear.

Secondly, he wrestles a comfortable part-time schedule and is one of the top two highest paid superstars on the roster. Add to the fact that he has leverage and can fight in UFC as well goes to show that he has a nice, lucrative contract. From the look of things, Vince McMahon doesn't seem to mind giving him that either, fully believing that as a box office attraction, Lesnar has earned his schedule.

He's not fully wrong, but it's easy to see why some people can be irked about it.

#4 Legitimate athleticism

Heyman thinks this should be the easiest decision of Seth Rollins’ life and that decision is to go to WrestleMania and challenge WWE Champion Daniel Bryan.

Brock Lesnar is as legit as an athlete gets. Even before his run in WWE, Lesnar was an NCAA Division I champion. After his brief two-year stint in the early to mid-2000s, Lesnar would try his attempt at the NFL before making a successful transition into MMA.

There's no doubt that Brock Lesnar is by far the most legitimate athlete in WWE history. With all the accolades that he has, there's really no one on the roster who can come close.

#3 Being larger than life

In the WWE nowadays, it's very rare that characters are larger-than-life. In fact, you could easily make a case that no full-time superstars feel like larger-than-life characters like how they did in the Attitude Era and even the Ruthless Aggression era.

A lot of this is due to WWE promoting the brand as the biggest star, but even then, Brock Lesnar always feels like a larger-than-life superstar when he's in the ring.

#2 An upperhand over Vince McMahon

As mentioned, it's very clear that Vince McMahon has no issues in paying Brock Lesnar what he wants and giving him relative freedom and privileges as compared to other superstars. It was once said that "There are rules for WWE superstars, and then there are rules for Brock Lesnar".

Vince McMahon really doesn't want Lesnar to leave under his watch, and this gives The Beast Incarnate the upperhand where he could easily tell McMahon that WWE needs Lesnar more than Lesnar needs WWE.

It's true in a way because Lesnar can earn far more with one fight in UFC.

#1 Maintaining his mystique

Brock Lesnar doesn't like people and he's been very vocal about that. With no social media presence, rare media interviews and more, Brock Lesnar has done a great job in maintaining his mystique.

As a result, when we see him, it's only on television and big appearances. The anti-social nature of Brock Lesnar has undoubtedly helped him in this regard.
