With Adam Pearce as the brand new WWE Universal Champion, a lot of new challengers may potentially emerge from the woodwork. For example, King Corbin, who has done nothing for many months now may suddenly decide that he wants to try his luck at becoming the brand new WWE Universal Champion, with a weaker Champion in Adam Pearce.

But someone like Sami Zayn, who is clearly out of the Intercontinental Championship picture right now, who believes that WWE is part of a conspiracy theory against him may just decide to throw his hat in the ring as well. It would be very interesting to see both of these mid-card talents emerge and rise to the top of the card at long last.

Roman Reigns does not need to be WWE Universal Champion to be the top star in the entire SmackDown brand. Adam Pearce could actually show off how good he is in the ring, with these new challengers.
