Johnny Gargano believes that he should be the face of WWE NXT. He has been on Karrion Kross’s back for some time and has been looking to take the NXT Championship away from him.

Over the past couple of weeks, the two NXT Superstars have traded some blows. Last week, Gargano got under Kross’ skin and nearly got run over by the NXT Champion.

The two men will come face to face in the NXT ring at the Great American Bash. Things will likely heat up during the face-off between the two men. Samoa Joe will be on hand to ensure that things go smoothly.

The Herald of Doomsday is known to lose his cool quickly. Meanwhile, Gargano has a knack for getting on people’s nerves. WWE should allow the interaction between the two men to heat up quickly and turn into a brawl.

Joe must then try to separate the two men and get taken out by the NXT Champion in the process. This could lead to a major backstage rivalry between Kross and Joe. WWE could then use this angle to get the title off Kross at a later date without denting his credibility by having Joe interfere.
