#3 Imperium must force Killian Dain to join them on WWE NXT
Imperium returned to WWE NXT earlier this year. WALTER’s men immediately tried to recruit his old ally Timothy Thatcher to the faction. However, Tommaso Ciampa stood between his partner Thatcher and Imperium like a brick wall.
Even though WALTER defeated Ciampa at TakeOver: Stand & Deliver, NXT dropped the storyline between Thatcher and Imperium. Instead, it looks like Imperium is more interested in Killian Dain.
Dain was previously in a faction with Alexander Wolfe on NXT. WWE has used this point well over the past two weeks, and it looks like Dain’s partner Drake Maverick will also play a major role in the rivalry.
Last week, Marcel Barthel and Fabian Aicher defeated Dain and Maverick in a tag team match. This week, WWE must allow Imperium to isolate and target Maverick and possibly hold him hostage.
WALTER must then appear and demand that Dain join him and his men if he wants to protect Maverick. This will create a great storyline on NXT, and give Dain a chance to shine and possibly get a major push.
Dain could end up fitting well in Imperium, and he could head to NXT UK with the faction to make a statement there.
