Before his showdown with Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 38. Roman Reigns will defend the WWE Universal Championship against Goldberg.

With every Goldberg match, there is nervousness amongst fans that he will win a title. The best example of this was the 2020 Super Showdown event. "The Fiend" entered the event as Universal Champion, and many believed he would easily retain.
However, Goldberg quickly defeated him to win the championship, much to the chagrin of fans.
History will not repeat itself here though, as Reigns will retain the Universal Championship. With WWE already announcing Reigns vs. Lesnar for WrestleMania, as well as that story being built since last year's SummerSlam.
It would be a massive mistake to end Reigns' historic reign right before WrestleMania.
It is also important to note that this is the last match on Goldberg's current contract. While there is a possibility that he will sign a new contract sometime before or after the Elimination Chamber. All signs point to this being Goldberg's last match.
