5 things that must happen after the Greatest Royal Rumble

WW
WWE needs to capitalize on the ongoing narrative.

The Greatest Royal Rumble took us on a nostalgic ride with WWE delivering an excellent show. From Daniel Bryan's epic confrontation with Kurt Angle, to Braun Strowman's victory, the event had everything.

However, with Backlash just two weeks away, the creative team needs to concentrate on advancing the narrative.

Since all the pay-per-views will involve superstars from both brands, WWE could go a different direction and produce something unforeseen.

So, without further ado, here are five things that must happen after the Greatest Royal Rumble

#1 - Roman Reigns must step down from the main event scene

Siel
Sidelining him from the spotlight would be beneficial in the longer run

Despite being handpicked by the management to dethrone the Beast, Roman Reigns fell short in another gruesome encounter with Brock Lesnar.

Having lost to the Universal Champion twice in three weeks, it's finally time that "The Big Dog" steps down from the main event picture.

With Roman Reigns failing to deliver what he promised, it would make sense if he opts to go a different direction.

If the company's willing to push him as a babyface, feuding with superstars like Jinder Mahal and Baron Corbin could rejuvenate his position within the WWE.

#2 - Big Cass must annihilate Daniel Bryan at Backlash

Big
Big Cass will be pushed to the moon.

Big Cass's recent run has sparked a debate with many fans sharing divided opinions upon his push. Considering how popular Daniel Bryan is, a feud with the recently returned seven-foot-tall superstar does feel like a let-down.

However, if WWE capitalizes on the narrative and tells a beautiful story by protecting both men, we could be in for something special.

With the two ready to battle at Backlash, annihilating the Yes! Man could be the opening Big Cass needs to grow as a heel.

We all know that Daniel Bryan shines in such positions and losing to Big Cass won't kill his momentum.

Therefore, if the company's looking to invoke maximum investment in the feud, then Cass must decimate Bryan.

#3 - Finn Balor must turn heel and win the Intercontinental Championship

S
Seth Rollins outsmarted Finn Balor yet again.

In a shocking turn of events, Seth Rollins managed to retain the Intercontinental Championship in what was a brilliant ending to the bout.

Despite the talent he possesses, the WWE Universe is quite disappointed with Finn Balor's recent run within the company. It's a damn shame that he has still not received a Universal Championship rematch.

Regardless of coming so close to winning the gold, Finn fell short yet another time. If the WWE does want to rejuvenate Balor, turning him heel could shake up things on Monday Night Raw.

The man is supremely talented, and turning on Seth Rollins could add a whole new dimension to his character and this feud. Let's hope it happens soon.

#4 - Braun Strowman must decimate Brock Lesnar to win the Universal Championship

It's ab
It's about time

Braun Strowman's sensational victory at the Greatest Royal Rumble could push him towards far more greater things.

Despite being a main event act, 'The Monster Among Men' has never held the Universal Championship.

With Roman Reigns failing to conquer the Beast, Braun Strowman could fill his shoes and decimate the Universal Champion.

Taking his stock into account, capitalizing on Braun's momentum could turn him into one of the biggest stars in the company.

Whether WWE publicly acknowledges it or not, Strowman has superseded Roman Reigns as the top guy, and his meteoric rise could begin by decimating Brock Lesnar.

#5 - Shinsuke Nakamura must win the WWE Championship

Long
Long overdue

Shinsuke Nakamura is one of the most charismatic superstars in the world today, if not the most charismatic.

While his initial run felt like a let down, his shocking character transformation has brought a breath of fresh air on the blue brand.

With the WWE Championship match ending in a double count-out in Jeddah, the rematch at Backlash must have a clean finish.

The potential of Nakamura's heel run could force the WWE to put the coveted prize on his reliable shoulders.

Winning the WWE Championship could bring a seismic shift in the Rockstar's position. Therefore, with only two weeks left until Backlash, it's only a matter of time until we have a new WWE Champion in 'The King of Strong Style.'
