5 Things that need to happen at WrestleMania 35

Would you want this to happen at the show of shows?
Would you want this to happen at the show of shows?

As per recent reports, the WWE is yet to pencil in the complete card for the show of shows, that's going to emanate from Metlife stadium in April. Although this is a matter of grave concern, it's almost certain that the WWE will somehow come up with a full fledged card by the time WrestleMania week is upon us.

As always is the case, not everyone will be pleased with the results by the time WrestleMania comes to an end. But there are some things that need to happen so that the WWE doesn't back itself into a corner again and mess up its storylines, like how it did at last year's WrestleMania (most notably with Asuka and Shinsuke Nakamura).

So let's look into five things that should happen at Metlife stadium.

#5 Randy Orton should defeat AJ Styles in a 20-minute classic

A match that would possibly steal the show!
A match that would possibly steal the show!

It's no secret that Orton hasn't exactly been on a role since quite a long time now. With the emergence of fresh talent from NXT on a regular basis, veterans like him are having a hard time keeping the spotlight on themselves.

What better way to send a message to the entire locker room that he's still got it and needs to be taken seriously, than pinning one of the biggest stars of the past three years in the WWE. AJ Styles has done it all in a very short span of time, becoming multiple time WWE champion on the SmackDown brand.

Orton has recently bested AJ in the gauntlet match, as well as inside the Elimination Chamber. All he needs now is to pin AJ at WrestleMania to begin a proper program that cements him as one of the absolute best on the SmackDown brand.

#4 Finn Balor vs Richochet for the Intercontinental title

A wrestling clinic waiting to happen!
A wrestling clinic waiting to happen!

After Ricochet came to the rescue of Balor on this week's Raw, they teamed up to defeat Lashley and Rush in an incredible display of athleticism.

Since then, fans have been clamouring on social media to see these two high flyers being pitted against each other. And for good reason too!

Balor has been nothing short of impressive since the day he debuted three years ago on the red brand. His latest outing with Lesnar at the Royal Rumble proved that he can get a good match out of anyone on the roster. On the other hand, we have Richochet, touted by many as being the best high flyer in the company at the moment. Letting these two go at each other for the gold at the biggest stage of them all, will only result in an absolute clinic for the fans to feast their eyes upon.

No matter what the outcome is, the winner is bound to be the WWE Universe.

#3 Rollins needs to rid us of the reign of terror

It's time to end the reign of terror!
It's time to end the reign of terror!

When Brock Lesnar came back in 2012, fans erupted in unison. Fast forward seven years, and the majority of wrestling fans are tired of the fact that the Universal title has turned into a joke, thanks to Brock's refusal to defend it on a regular basis. His contract gives him special perks such as defending the title only on special occasions like the "Big 4" PPVs.

Vince Mcmahon made a last minute decision at WrestleMania 34 and let Brock keep the title, but the atrocity has gone far enough at this point.

Seth Rollins is hands down the most over babyface on the Raw brand at the moment. He needs to curb stomp Lesnar to the mat and free us from the reign of terror, thus kicking off the process to make the Universal title mean something again.

#2 It's time for Kofi Kingston to win the big one

Is this a sign of things to come?
Is this a sign of things to come?

11 years.

Thats' how long Kofi has been with the WWE, and has given his blood, sweat and tears in the process. His ascension to the top was halted back in 2009, courtesy the Viper, Randy Orton.

Now that WWE has seen the kind of reaction Kofi has been getting consistently, it's time to pull the plug!

Kofi needs to secure a spot on the grandest stage of 'em all, against the planet's champion, Daniel Bryan. Moreover, he need to take the Hemp belt from Bryan and raise his hands in victory as 80,000 fans cheer in unison, in a Mania moment for the ages.

#1 Becky Lynch holding the women's title as the show goes off air

The perfect visual to close Wrestlemania!
The perfect visual to close Wrestlemania!

This match is the culmination of a four year long women's revolution that completely changed how WWE views it's women wrestlers. This story has been slowly and carefully developed since the past year or so.

You have a legit UFC athlete in Rousey, the cornerstone of the women's revolution in Charlotte Flair, and the fan favourite who's popularity forced the WWE to include her in the main event of WrestleMania, Becky Lynch.

This is the perfect recipe for WWE to create a megastar in Becky. The journey of "The Man" that began just before last year's Survivor Series, needs to come to an epic conclusion, as Becky Lynch holds the Women's title in her hands amidst a sea of humanity roaring and chanting her name.
