#5 Shane McMahon should turn heel

There's no way the crowd will boo Daniel Bryan
There's no way the crowd will boo Daniel Bryan

Shane McMahon is a popular babyface who gets a massive reaction every time he comes to the ring. However, his popularity is dwarfed by that of Daniel Bryan's, who may just be the most popular superstar in modern sports entertainment.

It seems inevitable that the two men will clash, considering that tensions have built up between the Commissioner and General Manager of SmackDown Live, over the past few months.

The fact that both men are referees in the match between Orton & Nakamura against Owens and Zayn, pretty much signifies that the two babyfaces are on a collision course. There are many rumours that have surfaced online that Daniel Bryan will turn heel and align himself with the despicable duo of Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn.

This decision does not make sense, as Daniel Bryan will never get a negative reaction. Shane McMahon should turn heel, and that can be the central pivot around which brand SmackDown Live is based, in the coming months. It would make things very interesting indeed.

#4 AJ Styles should retain the WWE Championship

Putting the championship back on Mahal may be a mistake
Putting the championship back on Mahal may be a mistake

The Jinder Mahal experiment was a bold step, for what it was. WWE must be commended for taking such a major decision and running with it for six months. In our opinion, however, the Championship is around the waist of the rightful SmackDown Live champion.

AJ Styles should remain the WWE Champion for the foreseeable future. He gets a massive babyface reaction from the WWE Universe, all of whom are invested in his run and his matches. Putting the belt around Jinder Mahal's waist would be a step back, in our estimation.

Styles could move on to a new opponent, following the Mahal feud and still be the face of the SmackDown Live brand. Mahal has improved tenfold as champion, but is still not in the same league as AJ Styles, honestly.

Mahal can have some interesting feuds in the mid card, going forward. And that may be the best thing for him. Slow and steady wins the race.

#3 Carmella should become the new Women's Champion

Only Carmella's cash in can make this feud interesting
Only Carmella's cash in can make this feud interesting

No offence to The Riott Squad, but at best, they seem like an inferior version of Absolution from RAW. The fact that both brands seem to be repeating the same storyline in the women's division, is hardly cause for celebration.

Do any of us really want to see Charlotte and Natalya face off in a Lumberjack match? In our opinion, the lumberjacks could begin fighting, allowing Miss Money in the Bank, Carmella to cash in the briefcase she now holds. This would really shake the division up!

Another development that could happen is Carmella could join the Riott Squad. Nobody would see this coming, and it would only make things more interesting than ever.

#2 The Bludgeon Brothers should bludgeon on

They should absolutely squash Breezango
They should absolutely squash Breezango

We realize that Breezango are a team of superstars who are IWC favourites. We realize that the WWE Universe wants them to beat the odds and pull off an upset win. However, defeating the Bludgeon Brothers may be a bad decision, at this moment.

The Bludgeon Brothers have been booked as seemingly indestructible. Their opponents have not lasted more than a couple of minutes with these brutes. Having them lose their first pay-per-view match would not be a wise decision, honestly speaking.

Not only should The Bludgeon Brothers win the match, they should absolutely destroy Breezango to a pulp. Only then can they be viewed as a threat in the SmackDown Live tag team division.

#1 Bobby Roode should become the new US Champion

Only then can he be viewed as the superstar he is
Only then can he be perceived as the superstar he is

Those of you who've watched him in TNA, know the potential of the 'glorious' Bobby Roode. Those of you who watched him in NXT know just how good the man really is. Unfortunately, he's only a shadow of his former self in the main roster right now.

We believe that by putting the US Championship on Bobby Roode, the WWE Universe can see him for the star he really is. Let's be honest, Baron Corbin is not the most exciting champion. Roode can make the title feel special.

Roode can use the US title to elevate superstars in the mid-card like Rusev, Tye Dillinger, Mike Kanellis, and Aiden English. He's a significantly better worker than Corbin.
