A much-awaited match was cancelled by WWE
Jeff Hardy lost to The Miz during his Money in the Bank qualifier match. Daniel Bryan lost to Rusev in much the same manner. And yet, both men got another chance to qualify for the said event. This is because Big Cass was written off with a kayfabe injury.

Big Cass and Samoa Joe were supposed to clash and determine the final spot at Money in the Bank. The match had to be cancelled because of Big Cass' supposed injury. Only Cass was back at full health the very next week.
I suppose some mysteries will always remain. And that leaves us with the final surprise from last month.
