5 Things to expect from the 12th March episode of Monday Night Raw

Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar
Champion and Challenger will meet face to face

The 12th March episode of Monday Night Raw will emanate from the Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan.

We are just weeks away from the WWE's biggest show of the year, WrestleMania 34, and the Superstars of Raw will look to make a statement going into the Showcase of the Immortals.

The upcoming episode of Raw is set to feature the Universal Champion Brock Lesnar and the challenger Roman Reigns come face to face with each other after two weeks of verbal assaults from Roman Reigns. This will be a crucial point leading to the Universal Title match at WrestleMania 34.

So, expectations are high for the 12th March episode of Raw and let us look into the 5 things we can expect from the show.

#5 More build up towards the Bayley and Sasha Banks match at WrestleMania 34

Banks and Bayley
Will the friends finally turn into foes?

From Marty Jannetty and Shawn Michaels to, Kevin Owens and Chris Jericho, WWE loves to break up friends and make them turn on each other.

But this is a feud that the WWE Universe was looking to see for a very long time. From their time together in NXT, to the main roster, Sasha Banks and Bayley have been on-screen best friends.

WWE finally pulled the trigger on a feud between the two best friends, thanks to the events of the last two weeks. Tensions are increasing among the two highly talented Superstars and one can hope that this leads to a match at WrestleMania 34 (probably the kick-off-show).

Anticipate more development on this feud on the upcoming episode of Monday Night Raw as we draw closer to the show of shows in April.

#4 Elias and Braun Concert continues

Braun and Elias
More music and more destruction!

Braun Strowman is not in any major story-lines for 'The Grandest Stage Of Them All'. But WWE cannot afford to have the 'most over' Superstar on the current Raw roster to warm the bench. That is why Strowman has been involved in a mini-feud with the drifter, Elias.

The two superstars have been putting on entertaining segments and matches for the past two weeks and we can expect the same to continue this upcoming episode as well.

So far Braun Strowman has attacked Elias with a giant bass and Pianos. We'll have to wait to find out what Strowman will find to annihilate Elias.

#3 Retaliation from the Authority

Ronda Rousey
Not a good day at the office for Steph O Mac last week.

Raw General Manager Kurt Angle made it official on the last episode that he and Ronda Rousey will be teaming up to take on Triple H and Stephanie McMahon in a Mixed Tag Team match at WrestleMania 34.

But that was not the last thing witnessed, as the WrestleMania opponents got physical when Triple H tried to attack Kurt Angle again, but this time The Game's plan backfired, as Kurt Angle gained the 'upper hand' with a series of punches and put the WWE's COO on the ankle lock.

Ronda Rousey would then go on to grab Stephanie McMahon by the hair, lifting her up on her shoulders and dropping the Raw Commissioner with a big Samoan Drop.

It was reported that Ronda Rousey will be appearing on every episode of Raw leading to WrestleMania 34 and we expect the former UFC Women's Bantamweight Champion to show up on the 12th March episode of Raw, along with her WrestleMania partner and fellow Olympian, Kurt Angle.

We can expect some sort of retaliation from the authority for the humiliation they suffered on the last episode, courtesy of Kurt Angle and Ronda Rousey.

#2 "The ultimate DELETION"

Matt Hardy
VANGUARD 1, I KNEW YOU'D COME

Woken Matt Hardy declared that the great war between him and Bray Wyatt is far from being over. The next step in this feud is all set to take place at the infamous Hardy Compound.

Matt Hardy invited Bray Wyatt to his compound for the final deletion as the war cannot be carried on anymore on the mortal ground known as WWE.

It was reported that the final deletion match will be featured on an episode of Raw rather than at WrestleMania 34 due to the highly stacked up match card. So, we can expect some light to be thrown on when the final deletion match will take place, on the upcoming episode of Raw.

I am personally hyped to see the action from the Hardy Compound on WWE, and it will be riveting to see how the WWE creatives carry the story going further.

#1 "The big confrontation"

Roman Reigns
It will not just be words when Roman Reigns meets his opponent Brock Lesnar face-to-face

After two week's of verbal assault from Roman Reigns, we will finally get to see the Universal Champion Brock Lesnar confront his WrestleMania 34 challenger.

Paul Heyman, the Universal Champion's advocate informed us on the last episode of Raw that the Beast Incarnate will be present on the 12th March episode to address his WrestleMania challenger, Roman Reigns.

The Big Dog was on the top of his game for the past two weeks as he verbally destroyed the Universal Champion for not showing up to work on the road to WrestleMania.

In the last episode, Reigns would tell Paul Heyman to inform his client to come dressed up for a fight when he shows up at Detroit.

We might witness the two behemoths brawl all over the arena or, we might just see a plain verbal confrontation between the champion and challenger. Either way, the confrontation would prove to be a crucial point leading to their match at WrestleMania 34.

So, expect a power packed episode of Raw on 12th March as we draw closer to WrestleMania 34.
