5 Things to expect from the 5th March episode of Monday Night Raw

WWE Raw
Will Lesnar confront Reigns this Monday?

The 5th March episode of Monday Night Raw is set to kick off from the BMO Harris Bradley Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The eyes of the WWE universe will be fixed on this episode of Raw as we draw closer to WrestleMania 34.

From Triple H blindsiding Kurt Angle to Roman Reigns roasting Brock Lesnar on the mic, the expectations are high for the next episode of Raw.

With that in mind, let's look at the 5 things to expect from the next episode of Monday Night Raw.

#5 Sasha Banks and Bayley Situation

Bayley
Will we finally see the best friends come to blows?

Last week we finally got to see a glimpse of the dark side of Bayley when she left Sasha Banks hanging for a tag on the 6 women tag team match.

After months of waiting, WWE finally pulled the trigger on a Sasha Banks and Bayley feud. The two of them are expected to collide at WrestleMania 34, which will mark the first time in many years since we've seen a non-title women's one-on-one match at WrestleMania.

We can expect more developments in this story on the next episode of Raw and it will be intriguing to see how WWE carries the story going forward towards the show of shows in April.

#4 Will Ronda Rousey seek retribution against Triple H and Stephanie McMahon?

Ronda Rousey
Rousey has a score to settle.

This feud started way back at WrestleMania 31 when Ronda Rousey stepped foot inside a WWE ring for the very first time. Fast forward three years and the former UFC women's Bantamweight champion is officially a WWE superstar and will compete at WrestleMania 34.

The possible opponents for Rousey at WrestleMania 34 are rumored to be Triple H and Stephanie McMahon and looking at the events since her official contract signing at Elimination Chamber, it seems like she will be teaming up with her fellow Olympian Kurt Angle in a Mixed Tag Team match against Stephanie and Triple H at WrestleMania 34.

Last week's segment saw "The Authority" confront Kurt Angle and Ronda Rousey for their actions at Elimination Chamber and at the end, Triple H laid out Kurt Angle with a cheap shot firing the first shot moving towards their potential Mixed Tag Team match at WrestleMania 34.

#3 Braun Strowman's path for WrestleMania

Braun Strowman
Strowman surprisingly is not in the IC title picture!

It looked like John Cena was not the only man who didn't have a clear path for WrestleMania as of last week's episode of Raw.

After a dominant performance at the Elimination Chamber match when he eliminated five superstars and setting the record for the most dominant performance in elimination chamber history, Braun Strowman surprisingly had to settle for a one-on-one match against Elias.

It was expected that Strowman would be going after the Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania 34, but it looks like that is not the plan. This leaves Strowman with no clear direction for the grandest stage of them all.

We can expect Strowman to find his way into the WrestleMania 34 match-card in the coming weeks and the next episode of Raw could provide "The Monster Among Men" with that opportunity.

#2 Seth Rollins, Finn Balor, and the Intercontinental Championship

The IC Title Picture
Two men lining up for a shot at the IC title

Last week the Intercontinental Champion "The Miz" was defeated in two singles matches by Seth Rollins and Finn Balor.

Both Rollins and Balor now have a clean victory over the Intercontinental Champion, technically making them the next contenders for the Championship.

Seth Rollins made it clear that he was going for the Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania 34 on last week's Raw.

With two contenders lining up for a shot at the Intercontinental Championship, we can expect some sort of clarity on the situation on the next episode of Raw and General Manager Kurt Angle might clear the air on who will challenge "The Miz" for the title at WrestleMania 34.

#1 Brock Lesnar's response

Roman Reigns
The Big Dog had a pipe bomb moment last week

Roman Reigns was at the top of his game last week when he verbally destroyed the Universal Champion Brock Lesnar in a worked shoot promo.

Roman Reigns won the Elimination Chamber match and earned himself a Universal Championship match against "The Beast Incarnate" at WrestleMania 34. It was announced that Lesnar would be addressing the winner of the Elimination Chamber match on last week's Raw.

But surprisingly, Brock Lesnar didn't show up much to the disappointment of everybody. Roman Reigns would then go on to cut the best promo of his career and laid his version of the "Verbal SmackDown" on the Universal Champion.

We can expect some sort of retaliation from Brock Lesnar on the next episode of Raw. He might show up or have his advocate Paul Heyman respond to the "Big Dog" on his behalf. One way or the other, we can expect to hear from the Universal Champion on Raw.
