The Bar are the new SmackDown tag team champions

A title match took place at the 1000th episode of SmackDown for the SmackDown tag team championships between The New Day and The Bar. Towards the end of the match, Big Show arrived to the ring and choke-slammed Kofi Kingston onto the announce table. The distraction gave The Bar a chance to pull off their finisher, and win the match via a 3 count.

The heel turn from Big Show was the major talking point from this match, as he aligned himself with The Bar. The team has been apparently named as The ShowBar. While The Bar would be in the ring for their championship victory celebration, Big Show would explain his actions from the previous week.

While a Big Show heel turn doesn't necessarily need an explanation, as it has been overdone in the entirety of his WWE career, still it would be important to know what kind of role he would be playing alongside The Bar.
