The creative team for both Raw and SmackDown Live are probably on a lot of money, and likely earn more than enough to have a comfortable living. So why, then, is the standard of television so poor right now? From the 50/50 booking to the lack of consistent storylines, it seems as if the only way is down as opposed to up.

Since the Superstar Shake-up, the quality of the blue brand’s product has seriously suffered, especially with the likes of Shinsuke Nakamura. Vince can’t seem to throw enough money at these people, neglecting the ideology that he needs to nurture them and help them grow into becoming world class writers.
