#4 Vince McMahon allows the term 'wrestler' on WWE TV again

Vince McMahon
Vince McMahon's list of banned words is certainly an interesting one. The WWE Chairman has banned several words related to the business, and the term 'wrestler' was one of them. Vince McMahon created his own unique lingo for his company, to set itself apart from other promotions. Addressing the fans as the 'WWE Universe', and dubbing wrestlers as 'WWE Superstars' were just one of several rules that he made.
Last year, a fan took to Twitter and asked wrestling journalist Dave Meltzer whether WWE had done the impossible, as he had been noticing several wrestlers use the term 'wrestler', and not Superstars. Meltzer simply responded with a 'yes'. Then-WWE Superstar Cash Wheeler responded to Meltzer's tweet and hinted that he was responsible for Vince McMahon unbanning the word. Vince McMahon had received lots of criticism over banning of pro wrestling lingo that had been a part of the business for decades on end, and it's refreshing to see that many of those words are being brought back in use.

He has interviewed prominent pro wrestling personalities like Noam Dar, Angry Miz Girl, Brendan Cobbina, and Jesse Lambert. Abhilash is a big fan of AEW star Orange Cassidy, as he believes the former International Champion’s on-screen gimmick of an extremely lazy guy resonates with him.
Given the opportunity to script WWE’s next big storyline, Abhilash would treat fans to the second installment of The Bloodline Civil War. He would book Roman Reigns to re-form The Bloodline with The Usos and Sami Zayn upon his comeback. The angle would see The Tribal Chief-led group go head-to-head with The Rock, Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, and Jacob Fatu in a blockbuster family feud.
When not reporting on pro wrestling, Abhilash likes to work out, go on walks, read, and explore new eateries.
