5 things we can expect on SmackDown Live tonight

SmackDown will air from London this week

After a Raw with quite some ups and a few downs, we are all set for SmackDown Live on Tuesday night. We saw three more Superstars qualify for the Money In The Bank match on Raw, a few meaningless tag matches, a new tag team being formed and more.

So, with a few matches already announced, let us round-up what we can expect on tonight's episode of SmackDown Live.

#1 More Superstars qualifying for MITB

Any of these superstars could have their crowning moment soon!
More Superstars will qualify for MITB tonight

One MITB qualifying match has already been announced for tonight's SmackDown - Big E vs Sheamus. There have been speculations about Big E being readied for a singles push, so we can expect the New Day member to win his match.

I have also predicted that Samoa Joe will be the other participant in the MITB Ladder match from SmackDown. We might see more female Superstars qualify for the match as well. Speaking of the Women's Championship...

#2 A Royal Mellabration!

The Princess of Staten Island

New SmackDown Women's Champion Carmella announced last week that the next episode of SmackDown would see a Royal Mellabration, and this fits since WWE is in London this week.

The 'Princess of Staten Island' is coming into her role as a heel, so a few references to the Royal Wedding and some jabs at the London crowd are sure to happen.

If history is any indication, there probably hasn't been a single celebration or a contract signing that has gone down without some interruption or fight breaking out.

We can expect WWE's resident queen and former Champion Charlotte to interrupt the Royal Mellabration, and Corey Graves will surely be quite upset about it!

#3 AJ Styles wins and picks a stipulation

The fourth clash between these two in just over a month

AJ Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura will face each other on SmackDown Live tonight, with the winner getting to decide the stipulation for their clash at Money in the Bank. Speculation is going around that their next clash will be a Last Man Standing match.

So, we can expect AJ Styles to pick up the victory and make their match a Last Man Standing match, as this sort of stipulation isn't really something that a heel would choose.

I just hope we don't see more low blows, we have seen enough of them and honestly, it has become cringe-worthy and hard to watch.

#4 An impactful debut

a
A long-awaited debut

WWE have announced the debut of Andrade 'Cien' Almas on SmackDown Live tomorrow, after weeks of keeping the fans waiting. Almas, alongside Zelina Vega, was one of the best heels over in NXT and there's no reason why WWE won't continue the same gimmick.

We can expect Almas to come out with his business associate, who will probably cut a heel promo and diss the London crowd, and finally, Almas will take out some beloved babyface to establish his dominance on the blue brand.

Another probability is that he will make his debut in a qualifying match for MITB, in which case he will win the match and go on to book a spot in the Ladder match.

#5 Big Cass returns to TV

Cass returns to TV tomorrow

Big Cass was conspicuous by his absence last week on SmackDown. Speculation going around is that this might be due to some backstage heat on the 7-footer.

However, we reported earlier today that in spite of any heat, WWE plans on going ahead with the Big Cass vs Daniel Bryan storyline for now, as they do not have any other place for Cass right now and are holding off on Miz vs Bryan for now, probably to have them clash at SummerSlam.
