#3 The Fiend lost his title but not all of his aura

We can still let him in, even without the title.

I wish that The Fiend retained his title against Goldberg, but it was not to be. Creative wants a different direction heading into WrestleMania regarding its title match. That leaves Wyatt without a title heading into the Show of Shows, but it doesn't outright mean that his new character is vanquished.

Thrusting him into the title scene so soon was part of the problem. He was so popular and effective right away that it forced their hands by having him defeat Rollins. It also made Rollins turn to the dark side. While the heel work of both men has been great, had things been held off, then a good portion of us wouldn't be mad that the Fiend lost the Universal Championship.

He's not without a match for WrestleMania 36 as we saw him challenge John Cena on the ensuing episode of SmackDown. Cena obliged, and with that, even without a title, the Fiend's match at the Show of Shows becomes more intriguing than the match with the actual Champion. While Wyatt didn't attack or torment the former in order to get him into a match, it still made sense with the way it was presented.

The 16-time Champion was saying that he was going to leave WrestleMania to the current full-time stars who are "the future" rather than take a spot away from someone deserving. Perhaps that's why the Fiend simply showed up and pointed rather than attacking the returning Cena. He can do plenty of that on the Road to WrestleMania - there is another whole month of build. We should get plenty of creepy and ominous undertones in the Fiend's promos.
